Chocolate Protein Balls for an On-the-Go Breakfast

These chocolate protein balls are loaded with protein and they are easy to grab on the go if you have a hectic morning!

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 scoop Vega essentials shake (we used chocolate but you could easily use the vanilla to change things up a bit)
Preparation
  1. Soak your chia seeds in water for about 10 minutes to soften them up just a bit.
  2. Drain the excess water and add the chia seeds with all the other ingredients into your mixer.
  3. Mix well.
  4. When all the ingredients are combined, form them into balls and roll them around with your hands to smooth them out.
  5. Store these in the fridge.
