3-Ingredient Halloween Slime
Slime is one of the best sensory play activities out there and this 3-ingredient Halloween slime is the perfect preschool Halloween activity. This would be so much fun as an addition to a Halloween party or just as a fun preschool sensory activity during the holiday season. You won’t believe how easy this is to make. With only 3 ingredients (plus a few eyeballs), you can throw this together in no time.

Slime is so much fun for kids of all ages to play with. Don’t buy it in the store! This homemade slime is so easy to make. My older kids love making this themselves but the end result is so much fun for my preschoolers to play with.
The fun thing about this slime is you can really change things up just by adjusting what you put in it. The basic recipe only has 3 ingredients but you can throw in any mix-ins that you’d like to really make a fun (and squishy) slime.
Halloween SLIME INGREDIENTS
I HIGHLY recommend buying these online. When I tried to track down large bottles of liquid starch in my local stores it was almost impossible. It was way easier to have everything delivered right to my front door.
- 1/2 cup white glue – I like these gallon containers because they are the best value.
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup liquid starch
- Liquid water colors (orange) – This is so much better than food coloring. You get way more color choices and it’s washable (a must with any kids activity). It ends up being way cheaper than food coloring too.
- Mix-ins – plastic eyeballs, glitter, sequins, anything else you want to mix in!

HOW TO MAKE Halloween SLIME
This homemade Halloween slime recipe is super easy to make. I love watching the recipe come together. For older kids, it becomes a science experiment too!
In a bowl, combine the 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of glue. Mix well.
This is the point where you will add in any mix-ins. I went with liquid watercolor, sequins, and eyeballs, but you could throw in anything you’d like.

Add the 1/2 cup of liquid starch.
The slime will begin to form immediately. It will be really loose at first but the more you mix it, the more it will come together.
Mix it with your hands from this point on until it becomes nice and smooth.

This will keep for several weeks in a sealed container. Pull it out again and again for lots of fun sensory play.

We definitely haven’t experimented with enough slime recipes. These look like so much fun.
