How to Potty Train Twins

My twins are 2 1/2 now and we are starting to think about potty training. After potty training 4 other kids (plus dozens more during my years as a home daycare provider), you’d think I’d have the potty training thing down.

Fun Ways to Teach Toddlers to Brush their Teeth

Are you looking for ways to make brushing your toddler’s teeth fun?

Brushing a toddler’s teeth can definitely be a bit challenging. As a mom of 6, I’ve had my share of toddler power struggles trying to brush the teeth of an unwilling toddler.

Dental hygiene is so important though and your child is creating habits that will last him a lifetime. That’s why I was so excited to partner with Orajel™ as a Smilehood ambassador this year.

When I was a new mom, I knew good dental hygiene was important but I also thought if I ran a toothbrush over my child’s teeth once a day or so that I was covering my bases. I was shocked when my 4 year old visited the dentist and we discovered that he had 2 cavities.

We thought we were making dental hygiene a priority but apparently we weren’t doing enough.

We’ve stepped up our game since then and now with toddler twins we have really had to get creative to make brushing teeth a fun experience for everyone.

How to Handle Night-Time Potty Training

Once you have tackled day-time potty training you probably think you are home free, right?

Unfortunately, night-time potty training is a whole different ball game. Some kids naturally manage to stay dry all night once they are potty trained during the day but others struggle.

I was excited when CVS Training Pants offered to sponsor this post so I could share some of the tricks we’ve learned to simplify night-time potty training.

As a mom with younger kids at home, I value my sleep. Once I hit the toddler or preschool stage and start sleeping again, I definitely don’t want that sleep jeopardized by a child who is going to be wake me up in the night to help them use the bathroom or to let me know they wet the bed.

After potting training 4 kids (and counting) I’ve come up with some great tricks to help you handle night-time potty training.
