You’e heard of a man cave right? What about a mom cave? In my house, I’m usually the one who needs a time out but unless I lock myself in the bathroom (and that usually involves tiny fingers sticking under the door) there’s no where to hide.
Apparently I’m not the only one who needs a break because She Sheds are the latest trend out there and they sound AWESOME.
I’m lucky enough to have an office in my house but it’s right next to our main living area so it’s not exactly a quiet space or a great place to take a break when I’m done working for the day. You can use an app called IF to automatically adjust the lighting in your She Shed based on the weather (or anything else you want). IF is something I’m just starting to play around with. It can do so many awesome things if you get creative. For example, if it rains, you can tell it to brighten the light from your hue lights. How cool is that?

Want an easy way to lock up your She Shed? You can use the August smart lock to lock and unlock your shed from your phone. You can even grant temporary access to friends remotely.

I’m all about the food. Instead of hiding treats around your kitchen (am I the only one who has to do that?) you can have a stash of treats (healthy or otherwise . . . ) stocked away in your She Shed.
