Are you looking for a toy your toddler is sure to love? The new Oball Go Grippers Collection from Kids II is sure to be a hit with kids this holiday season.
We tried out the full collection for the first time a few weeks ago (check out what we thought of the collection here). My twins have been having so much fun playing with these toys that I just had to share a bit about our favorite with you.
They love that the Go Grippers have geometric holes that make it easy for them to grab. We’ve had a lot of frustration in the past with toys that were just a bit too tricky for toddler hands so I love that the Go Grippers line takes the frustration away and lets them get down to the business of having fun.
By far, my twin’s favorite toy in the Go Grippers line is the Bounce ‘N Zoom speedway.
This toy now has a prominent spot in my living room for the foreseeable future because they just can’t get enough of it.
There were so many different ways for them to play that it worked perfectly for side-by-side play — super important when you have toddler twins.
My twins have a tendency to fight while they play. They are super competitive and they always want what the other twin has.
The Bounce ‘N Zoom Speedway had multiple tracks they could put the cars on and a claw that picked the cars up and dropped them down on a trampoline below — that was my older twin’s absolute favorite.
It took her a few times to figure out how it worked but once she got it I couldn’t drag her away. It actually worked out really well because her sister took over the track and she just wanted to play with the claw over and over again.
I loved the cause and effect play that this toy demonstrated. Instead of going with just a standard car ramp like so many toys on the market, Oball gave multiple options for play.
Not only do you have the cars going down ramps, but there are fun things the cars do on the way down. Kids can flip a switch and cause the car to go down a different track. One track has a platform that is weighed down when the car gets to it and causes the platform to drop down to a lower track — that was fun for my twins to watch.
And of course, then you’ve got the claw with the trampoline at the bottom which is such a fun way for toddlers to experiment with gravity.
Oball also makes a loader, dump truck, and car carrier. You can find the Go Grippers collection at Toys R Us. Interested in finding out more? Shop this collection here.
