What is the Craziest Thing you’ve ever had happen at the OB office? (VIDEO)

After having 7 kids, I’ve had more than my share of OB visits. There were, of course, a few awkward encounters. I’m not sure anything compares to the experience this couple from Kentucky had.

You will not be able to watch this video without laughing. I’m still cracking up at this video.

Rachel and Chris McQueen went for a routine ultrasound when she got a HORRIBLE surprise. Instead of ultrasound gel, her OBGYN grabbed the wrong bottle.

What did he use?

Hand Sanitizer!

Can you imagine? That is a doctor’s visit she won’t soon forget . . . and neither will you after watching their video.

I’m willing to bet her doctor is going to be extra careful at her next doctor’s visit!

What is the craziest OBGYN visit you’ve had?

I haven’t had any ultrasound mishaps but I did have an interesting ultrasound experience with my twins. They had a nurse who was had never seen a twin ultrasound so she wanted to practice on me. My regular nurse was there with her and helped her as she navigated the wand over my giant belly.

This was towards the end of my pregnancy and I had pretty well adjusted to the idea of having twins by this point. That didn’t stop me from making my doctor confirm that there wasn’t a hidden triplet in there somewhere.

As the nurse performed the ultrasound I heard, “There’s a head. And there’s a head. And there’s ANOTHER head?!”

I had 30 seconds of panic.

Then my nurse said, calmly, “No. That’s a butt . . . ”

I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Triplets probably would have sent me over the edge!
