Earn Money Renting Space in Your Home with Neiybor

We are always looking for fun ways to help you earn a side income from home. Neiybor is such an easy way to earn some extra income each month. All you need is a bit of space in your home (or outside if you have an RV pad) and you can list your space to rent on Neiybor.

Peer-to-Peer storage is up to 50% cheeper than commercial options, so on the flip side, it can be an amazing way to spend money.

Right now they are just in Utah, but they have big plans to expand so I’m excited to see what happens as they grow.

How Does Neiybor Work?

Creating a listing on Neiybor is easy. Go here to set up and account and you are ready to add your rental space.

I have an RV pad we aren’t using in my backyard so I went through the process to list it. From start to finish, the entire process took less than 15 minutes.

They asked for some basic information and a good description of the space you have available to rent. I had to go measure my space, so that took me a bit longer, but if you know the size of your space already you can just enter it in.

I took a few quick photos. They give you the option of adding a video tour of your space if you want to. The more information you add, the more likely you are going to be to find renters.

There’s nothing pretty about the photos I took — I’ll probably go back when I have more time and re-do them — but they get the job done.

They did require a photo of my driver’s license, which, from a renters standpoint, is probably a very good thing.

If you have a larger space, you can break it into smaller storage areas and rent them out as individual spaces.

Neiybor seems like the natural next step in the trend in the sharing economy business model. As a side gig, it is perfect for families that don’t have a lot of extra time. All you need is some space in your home and you can increase your income without a lot of effort.
