GoTo 2-in-1 Portable High Chair Giveaway
Eating out with kids can be a real challenge . . . for so many reasons. One of the biggest problems I have away from home is dealing with the high chair situation. A lot of the places we go to have high chairs but they aren’t always secure or sanitary so I will often end up eating while holding a baby on my lap.
With twins, that gets a bit interesting.
When I attended the ABC Kids Expo a few months ago, I was on the hunt for products that make life with a baby easier. What I found was the GoTo 2-in-1, a great portable infant car seat station and high chair. They sent me one to try out with my twins and we have been loving it!
This folds up easily so you can take it with you and never have to wonder if there will be a high chair available when you go out to eat. Even if a high chair is available, you never know quite how sanitary it is. I actually took my kids to a place last week that stored their high chairs in the public restroom. They were the kind with built in trays too. Gross. We definitely didn’t use those.
The GoTo 2-in-one has a nice, comfortable seat with secure straps.
There’s even some extra storage in the back if you want to tuck any odds and ends there for quick access. I know many moms swear by taking extra toys to keep kids busy when they go out to eat (I’m a mean mom and make my kids play with straws and napkins) and this would be a great spot to stash everything when you are ready to eat.
The base is super stable. I tried wiggling it all over since I knew my twins would be doing that as soon as I put them in the high chair but it didn’t budge.
We are just past this stage but this can be used as a car seat stations as well. I always hated putting my infant car seats on the upside down high chairs that so many restaurants have you do because it just didn’t seem secure. I always worried that someone would walk by and knock the car seat off. The GoTo 2-in-1 has a strap to hold the car seat securely in place and with the stability of the base that car seat isn’t going anywhere.
My twins have loved having a familiar spot to sit when we are out and about (or just hanging in the backyard).
I love her little scrunchie smile.

When eating out with a toddler, always leave an extra large tip for the server!
I like to use baby wipes to help wipe down their eating surface
Make sure to have things to keep them busy!
I bring coloring books
When you think you have packed enough food, double it. My kids are always starving when they leave the house
I bring crayons and coloring books
always bring some food in a tupperware just in case
to use baby wipes
My favorite tip is to bring toys to keep them busy because they will get restless.
Bring something you know they love that will distract them while you try to eat!
My best tip is to make sure they are hungry so they will actually eat and the food will keep them occupied, as well as bring some paper and crayons for them to color.
I always bring toys and activities for my son to do!
My tip is to get them in the high chair fast. As soon as mine gets a chance to sit on anything else or stand after we walk in the restaurant she will fight going in the high chair once they bring it.
I suggest going before you are super hungry that way you are calm. Make sure you have finger snacks or toys to keep baby happy before food arrives.

bring things to occupy the child. also walk around outside while you wait for your table to use up energy. it is hard for me to sit still that long and i know it’s hard for kids too.
Have little finger foods for them, I have found when they have their own little snacks it makes things easier.
My best tip for eating out with a toddler is to bring something to occupy them. I always bring crayons and coloring book or their favorite book to look at.
