How to Detox Your Pet’s Diet
This post was sponsored by Supreme Source® as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
We all know that eating a well-balanced diet is important for good health. The same is true for your pet’s diet too. Changing over your pet’s food can be tricky sometimes. We put our dog on a 10-day detox to improve his health and we have some great tips to help you switch over your pet’s food.
We welcomed our dog into our home a few years ago. We’d been thinking about it for a while, since my son deals with anxiety and we thought a dog would be great for him, but our dog still came into our lives a bit unexpectedly.
Someone locally had a baby and was getting rid of her dog since the combination of both was getting to be too much to handle. It was sooner than we were planning on getting a dog but he was a great fit for our family and he, honestly, has been great for my son.
Because he acts as an emotional support dog, we like to make sure we take care of him as best we can, since he does such a great job taking care of my son.
He’s a bit of a picky eater so we are always concerned that he isn’t getting what he needs. He’s also a super active dog so he tends to drop weight easily.
With him showing less interest in his current dog food, we thought it was a good time to detox his diet and introduce Supreme Source®, a premium grain-free, superfood diet that is loaded with healthy enzymes and prebiotics to help cleanse and rejuvenate your pet.
10-Day Pet Detox Program
Switching over your pet’s food can be a challenge sometimes. In the past, we’ve switched too quickly and our dog has gotten an upset stomach.
After finding out that Supreme Source Pet food was grain free (no corn, no wheat, no soy), contains no artificial flavors or colors, and includes a healthy blend of fruits and veggies, we wanted to make the switch. It’s also packed with healthy enzymes and prebiotics to help cleanse your pet’s system, inside and out.
To switch over our dog’s food safely, we are doing a 10-day detox thanks to Supreme Source.
We started our detox by switching just a quarter of our pet’s food to Supreme Source.
He loved it so much that the first time, he would only eat the Supreme Source food and left the rest until he really got hungry.
We are now on day 4 and we are up to 50% Supreme Source. Our detox has been going great so far and I’m hopeful that the change will give our dog the energy that he needs to keep up with 6 kids.

Sounds like it was a good success! I’m not familiar with having to switch over dog food, but when I do I will keep in mind to do it over a period of time.
