He’ll often take a kid with him while running errands. It’s a great chance for each child to spend some one-on-one time. In a family of 8, that isn’t something they get often, so they love it when we can make it happen. Even a simple trip to the grocery store becomes an adventure when it gives them some one-on-one time.

Because my husband often takes kids with him, he needs a car seat in his car. The trick is, he will sometimes have the older kids with him too so we don’t want to load up a car seat for each of my three different sized girls.
