The new Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit game from Nintendo transforms the classic Mario Kart into a live-action game and is perfect for tweens who have grown up loving Mario Kart. This hands-on game encourages kids to really get creative and will provide kids with hours and hours of fun.

The newest in the Mario Kart franchise, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, takes kids away from the screen. You set up real live courses and can use household items to help create the ultimate Mario Kart track.
As a parent, I love how interactive this game is. It’s a single-player game, unless you have multiple Nintendo Switches and a duplicate game, but kids can jump in and get involved with the track building process.

The game comes with the car, four gates, and two arrow signs. The camera on the car interacts with them and uses augmented reality to show an racing world.
My kids had so much fun seeing how their DIY race tracks translated into an on-screen world.

Like the original Mario Kart games, there are 4 different speed modes: 50 cc, 100 cc, 150 cc, and 200 cc. At higher speeds you will need a larger course so that you have the time you need to turn. Smaller courses work great at lower speeds.
This, more hands-on Mario Kart, is really appealing to kids of all ages. It is geared towards kids ages 6 and older but even my teenagers jumped in on the fun. This is such a fun game to get kids up and moving around and thinking creatively by putting their building skills to use.
We’ve had hours of fun playing Mario Kart Live at my house. You can find Mario Kart Live at Walmart and Amazon.
