This time of year, someone is always not feeling their best around my house. With 6 kids, it’s just the way things go during the winter season. As a mom, it is important to me to use the most non-medicated options I can, while still making sure my kids get help for their discomfort. Fortunately, there are some great drug-free ways to soothe dry and uncomfortable nasal passages, which are the worst (at least according to my kids, but I totally agree).
My kids cannot sleep with dry, uncomfortable noses – so then you have tired and very cranky kids. In order to help them sleep and find some comfort, finding a non-medicated nasal spray is so important.
That’s where hydraSense® comes in.
HydraSense® is a purified seawater solution that is so easy to use for infants and young children.
I’ve used different saline sprays myself and most applicators are way too big for children to use. Not only is hydraSense® the perfect size for young children, it is super easy to use so you don’t have to worry about figuring it out while holding onto a wiggly toddler.
We are at the tail end of a LONG series of dry and uncomfortable noses at my house. One of my twins has still been a bit uncomfortable so I decided to try hydraSense® with her to see if it could help her get some comfort.
She didn’t fight it at all. It wasn’t her favorite thing in the world but she realized that it helped her nose feel better.
A few of my kids have been sensitive to things I’ve used in the past so I’m always cautious with the products and medicines that I use with them. I try and look for the gentlest way to help them as I can. I love that this is such a simple way to soothe their nasal passages when they aren’t feeling their best. It works great for refreshing dry and uncomfortable nasal passages.
The purified seawater solution that is used in hydraSense® is made from mineral-rich, 100% naturally sourced seawater from the Bay of Saint-Malo, France, whose powerful tides constantly renew the seawater’s composition.
It feels nice and gentle and doesn’t have a strong smell.
Your nose needs hydration. When your nasal passages are dry it can be painful. I know when I have an uncomfortable nose everything either feels too wet or too dry. This helps balance that out by giving you hydration.
My daughter definitely felt better after we were done and said she’d try it again the next time her nose was uncomfortable. This has definitely become our go-to naturally sourced seawater spray for hydrating our dry noses.
I loved how easy it was to use. You simply pop on the applicator and push down to spray the purified seawater solution. It doesn’t come out too fast so it isn’t overwhelming to tiny noses. You can see it in action here.
