Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
This Orange Creamsicle Smoothie tastes just like the classic summertime treat but with a healthy twist. Packed with vitamin C and creamy goodness, it’s the perfect refreshing drink for any time of day.
This Orange Creamsicle Smoothie is a twist on one that we loved in my house growing up. My dad used to make it all the time and we always went crazy for it. It tastes like a cross between an Orange Julius and a creamsicle.
My kids go crazy over this, and it is so easy to make. The combination of orange juice and evaporated milk gives you such a rich, creamy flavor. It’s perfect for an afternoon treat or to enjoy with breakfast!
Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Ingredients
- Orange juice concentrate
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 scoop of Clean Simple Eats Vanilla Protein Powder (Use the Code “BusyMommyMedia” to save 10%)
- 2 cups ice
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
How to Make an Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
Scoop out about half a can of orange juice concentrate into your blender. You can use more if you want a stronger orange flavor. I let this melt just a bit so it’s easier to work with.
Add in the evaporated milk, ice, water, and vanilla. The evaporated milk whips up as you make this, so be sure that your blender isn’t too full as you make this.
Whip up your orange mixture. It should be a drinkable consistency with just a bit of slush to it.
You could make this dairy-free by replacing the evaporated milk with coconut milk.
This would be delicious served with these Orange Juice Pancakes (and if you haven’t tried those yet, you absolutely have to add them to your menu plan).
