There are all kinds of creative ways to countdown until Christmas. I like to keep things simple with this printable Christmas Countdown.

My kids enjoy having their own advent calendars (check out this list of our favorite advent calendars for the whole family). Those are always fun but I like to have something up on display that clearly tells kids how long they have to wait until Christmas.

My family has used this simple Christmas countdown for several years. We hang it up in our main living area and take turns changing the number each day.

How to Use This Christmas Countdown

Print this Christmas Countdown and put it in a frame.

You can use a whiteboard marker to write directly on the glass.

Each day, count the number of days until Christmas and write them in the center of the wreath.

Kids have so much fun watching the numbers get smaller. Put one of your older kids in charge of changing the number each day.

We framed this and put it in our family room near the Christmas tree so we can keep track of the number of days until Christmas. It makes such a fun (and interactive) addition to your holiday decorations too so I love having it somewhere that I can see it easily.
