What Can a Detox Do for your Pet?
This post was sponsored by Supreme Source® as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
Have you thought about putting your pet on a detox? If you’ve been following our posts, you know that we put our dog on a 10-day detox with Supreme Source® pet food. Our dog is a huge part of our family so we want to make sure we are taking the best care of him that we can. Thanks to the 10-day detox, our dog has more energy, seems to enjoy mealtime more, and wants to play more often. We bought Supreme Source Grain Free Turkey Meal & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food at Smith’s from the pet aisle for the detox.

Most of us think quite a bit about the food we put into our own bodies, but have you considered what you are feeding your pet?
Feeding your pet high quality pet food can have a huge impact on his level of health. We set off on a 10-day detox (see the details on that in our first post here). After going through the detox with our pet, I’m so glad we made the switch to Supreme Source pet food. This grain-free pet food is packed with healthy enzymes and prebiotics so I feel good about giving it to our pet.
Why is pet health important?
We all want our pets to be healthy. That’s a no-brainer. Most of us don’t think about the quality of the food we are feeding them though.
I know I feel 100% better when I eat foods that are good for me. I know the same is true of our dog.
I’ve mentioned before that our dog is a super picky eater. He’s dropped weight in the past because he didn’t want to eat his dog food, so we watch to make sure he is getting enough to eat now.
Since switching to Supreme Source, he hasn’t hesitated to clean his plate. I actually caught him sniffing at the bag of food a few times and begging me to give him some more. I’ll take that as an affirmative that he enjoys it!
What are the Results of our 10-Day Detox?
We are at the tail end of our 10-day detox and now our dog is 100% on Supreme Source pet food. I love seeing how much more energy he has now, it’s great to see him motivated and he actually likes eating his food now. We used to have to really encourage him to eat because he was only really interested in people food. Now he comes running when we fill up his food bowl.
Our dog is 1/2 corgi and has short little legs. He’s fairly active, but long walks used to be a bit of a challenge for him. He’s more of a sprinter: pretty quick but not much for distances.
Now, the two of us are taking daily walks in the afternoons. I definitely need the exercise too, but I love having him tag along. He is able to walk longer distances now without getting too worn out and I’m finding I have more energy too since I’m getting outside and moving more often. The timing is perfect since the weather is warming up around here and it feels so nice to get outside and enjoy some sunshine.
Spring is a great time to make the #SuperFoodSwitch.
