Wonderful Halos “Valentine’s Day Love Monsters”
Thank you to Wonderful Halos for sponsoring this post.
One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day is seeing all the creative ways you can tell people you care. We love this Valentine’s Day Love Monster craft made with Wonderful Halos. Wonderful Halos make the perfect healthy snack so it only makes sense that we would enjoy them for Valentine’s Day too. My kids are making these DIY Valentine’s Day crafts to give out to their friends this year and they are so excited to share one of their favorite treats with some of their favorite people.
My girls get so excited about every holiday so it is always fun to have a project that we can make. We started pulling out our Valentine’s decorations this week and it has been so much fun to see my kids start to get excited.
My twins started preschool this year so everyone will have school parties for Valentine’s Day this year and it has been so fun to see their excitement grow.
I know there will be loads of sugary treats in our future so I love the idea of creating a fun treat that is both nutritious and something my kids will love. We can’t get enough Wonderful Halos in my house. We go through boxes of them so quickly because they are the perfect portable snack and have just the right amount of sweetness.
My little girls love that they can peel them by themselves so I always try to pop one in their school lunches or have them ready for after school snacks.

Wonderful Halos “Valentine’s Day Monsters” Instructions
Form half of a pipe cleaner into a heart shape and twist the bottom ends together to seal, leaving just a bit at the end to push into the mandarin.
Position each heart “ear” where you want it and push the ends into your Halo mandarin.
Fold a 2″ square of the felt in half and cut out a heart shape.
Position the heart so that the top is sticking out beneath the Halo mandarin as “feet” and use hot glue to attach to the bottom of the mandarin.
Hot glue two googly eyes to the front of the Halo mandarin.
Decorate with heart candy stickers as desired.
This project is such a fun one to do with kids of all ages and it makes a great Valentine’s Day gift idea. My kids are excited to hand these out to their friends this year and they are so proud of their little Valentine’s Day Monsters.
Look for Wonderful Halos at your local grocery store and stock up so you can have the perfect little portable snack on hand.
