- 1 unbaked deep dish pie crust
- ½ C sweet cream butter (soft)
- ½ C granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp cornmeal
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

- 1 ¼ C flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ C buttermilk
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ⅓ C unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ C granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
Frosting ingredients:
- 2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ C heavy whipping cream

Pie instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Chop up Berger cookies. Placing them in a large bowl.
- Transfer the chopped cookies into the pie crust.
- Add butter, sugar, eggs, and cornmeal in a medium bowl.
- Whisk to combine these ingredients together.
- Carefully pour the wet mixture over the cookies.
- Use a rubber spatula to gently stir to coat all of the cookie pieces. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. (Or until it is golden brown on the top.)
