This was the first kid-friendly nativity set added to our collection (yes, we have more than one). Instead of ceramic figures that are definitely NOT kid-friendly this can take lots of play time. It’s been one of the best holiday purchases we have ever made.

I love the Little People Nativity Set. That is what we have. I don’t worry about the kids ruining. Now finding Mary riding in a sports car 6 months later is not good either, so you do have to have some rules.
I bought the Star From Afar set this year and the pieces are solid wood, chunky, and sealed. I don’t know that you’d want tiny ones chewing on it, but otherwise I love it. My kids get their own nativity instead of trying to play with my willow tree one. 😉
