Host a Safe, Outdoor Picnic Baby Shower – Set up blankets (or chairs) at a safe distance apart and have food set up at each picnic spot so it stays separate. Chat from a safe distance and enjoy visiting while eating some of the mom-to-be’s favorite foods.
“Heart Attack” the Front Door – My teens have enjoyed leaving “heart attacks” for their friends from time to time. They cut out paper hearts and tape them to the front door of their friends home. When the friend comes out the door is covered in hearts and they can see how much everyone cares. The same concept would be a great way to host a safe, outdoor baby shower. Each guest could leave a heart with a little note or piece of advice and tape it to the mom-to-be’s front door. Gifts could be left on the porch.
