Finding a method to organize your recipes that works for your family isn’t always easy.
I used to store all my recipes on Pinterest, probably much like the rest of the universe. That is until one fateful day I went to make one of my favorite party foods and *gasp the link was broken. Whoever had originally blogged that recipe had stopped blogging and their site no longer existed!
I still mourn the loss of that recipe.
I learned from that lesson and now make sure that I save my favorite recipes somewhere secure.
I still use Pinterest (be sure to follow us for some great recipes if you aren’t already) but if I find a recipe that is a keeper I make sure to print it out and save it somewhere I can access it offline.
I started just pasting recipes into a word processing document but that doesn’t look very pretty at all so I wanted to look for another solution.
As an alternative, all the recipes that we post have a printable option. If you want something that requires almost no prep work on your part you can print them out and put them in a 3-ring binder.

I created these editable recipe cards and they have been the perfect solution to help me keep the recipes I love.
You can type in your recipes, print them out, and put them into a binder or recipe box.
You can also just print them and write in the recipes if you have the patience and the hand-writing for that sort of thing.
You can download the pdf HERE.
I hope you enjoy them!
Dinnertime used to be the most challenging part of my day. Now I have routines in place and I’m actually enjoying it. Having a plan lets me unplug while I prep dinner and spend some time catching up with kids. We love talking over their days while they help me in the kitchen and it is the perfect end in the day.
