Give the Gift of Yoga this Holiday Season

I’m a yoga beginner.
When it comes to classes, I feel a bit awkward. That’s why I was so excited to discover MyYogaWorks, a subscription site that lets me take yoga classes from my home computer.
As a work at home mom, I spend a lot of time on my computer. I love being able to work from home but all that time sitting at my desk really does a number on my back.
I’ve had gym memberships in the past and while my gym had great options for fitness classes, including some great yoga classes, I rarely had the time to drive over there and workout.
Even when I did manage to set aside enough time for a trip to the gym, I had to deal with that awkwardness of walking into a class full of yoga pros when I knew I was barely going to be able to do half the things in the class.
MyYogaWorks takes care of all of that.Â
- I don’t have to make time to drive to the gym — I can exercise right here at home.
- I don’t have to worry about looking silly when I’m several steps behind everyone else in my yoga practice — no one is watching when I workout with MyYogaWorks classes at home.
I LOVE how easy MyYogaWorks makes it for me to get in some exercise.
I don’t often have a lot of extra time. I keep reminding myself that it’s just a phase, but as a mom of 6, it is a really long phase.
MyYogaWorks has options for short little workouts when you don’t have a lot of extra time.
They have several ten minute workouts that I’ve been using as a way to stretch out my back when I’ve been sitting at my desk for too long.
Having that little ten minute break does wonders for the way I feel and I find that I’m more likely to log in and go through a longer workout later on.
How does MyYogaWorks Work?
MyYogaWorks is a subscription service that gives you access to premium online yoga.
They have everything from short, ten minute workouts to workouts for more advanced yoga practice. This is perfect for busy moms (and let’s face it — we’re all busy). Even when you don’t have a lot of time, you can still get a great workout in. I’ve found I can finish my workout in less time than it would have take me to pack up the car and drive to the gym.
They have over 1,000 online yoga classes that you can stream from your laptop, tablet, phone or TV. I’ve tried several over the last few weeks and haven’t found one I didn’t like yet. They are challenging without being overwhelming. They have classes as short as 5 minutes or as long as 90 minutes. No matter what level you are at, there’s something you can find to push you to the next level.
