Hey Alexa, Donate to Toys for Tots

As a parent, I’ve tried really hard to emphasize the importance of giving back to my kids. This holiday season, Amazon is making it easy to give back with a toy for toy match when you use Alexa to donate to Toys for Tots. They’ve partnered with us on this post to help spread the word, but I also love how easy this makes it to give this holiday season.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is that it brings out the best in people. This holiday season, Amazon is making it easy to give back.

Donate a toy to Toys for Tots via Alexa by simply saying, “Alexa, donate to Toys for Tots.”

Amazon will be matching donations throughout the end of the year – toy for toy, so your donation has double the impact.

Finding ways to give back during the holiday season can be overwhelming sometimes. With so many events going on, it can be hard to dedicate time to serve in your community. We do try to find at least one thing we can participate in each season, but I’m always left feeling like I wish I could do more.

I’ve tried to help my kids understand how fortunate they are. With that privilege comes the responsibility to give back. As a parent, I know I’ll be doing my kids a disservice if I don’t help them understand the importance of reaching out and helping others in need, both in our community and beyond.

My kids think it’s hilarious to tell Alexa she’s fired . . . which, honestly, it really is. This is a much better use of Alexa and a great way to support a worthy cause this year.
