How to Pamper your Pet at Mealtime
Do you have a family pet that needs a bit of extra attention?
My dog is a bit . . . spoiled. Ted has his own little neighborhood fan club and he knows it. He’s a bit quirky and thinks he’s just one of the kids most of the time. He even has his own Instagram channel.
He came to us when his previous owner realized he needed a bit more attention than she could give him. He’s had no shortage of attention in our house with 6 kids running around, but he has gotten a little used to getting his own way.
That turned into a bit of a problem at mealtime. We found a solution when we discovered Freshpet refrigerated dog food.
It didn’t take long for the little girls in the house to have him wrapped around their little fingers. He’s been super protective of them from the beginning and very patient with all the cuddling they want to do.
When we first brought him home, he was a bit underweight. We quickly realized it wasn’t an issue with not being fed enough in his past. It turns out, he’s a bit of a picky eater (and he has some serious anxiety).
He made it really clear that he is not really a fan of dry dog food. He’ll eat it if he gets hungry enough but it’s definitely not his first choice.
