Pumpkin Spice Play Dough

Play dough is one of the best activities for toddlers and preschoolers and it can be so fun to change things up for the seasons.. This Pumpkin Spice Play Dough smells absolutely amazing and kids love playing with it.

Add a bit of fall fun to your preschool activities this year. You can use this for sensory play, or alphabet practice. There’s no better rainy day activity. My kids love pulling out the play dough when I’m working from home and it is so fun seeing what they come up with.

We’ve tried so many play dough recipes over the years and this one is the absolute best. It is so easy to make and has such a smooth texture that is so much fun to play with.

Before we show you how to make our favorite play dough recipe, we have a few tips to help your kids have even more fun.

Pumpkin Spice Play Dough Ingredients

• 1 cup of flour
• 1/2 cup of salt
• 2 tsp. Cream of tartar
• 1 cup of water
• 1 tsp vegetable oil
• 1 Tbsp. pumpkin spice

Pumpkin Spice Play Dough Instructions

Combine flour, salt, cream of tartar, and pumpkin spice.

You could use essential oils in this instead of species if you want a stronger fragrance. Check out my favorite essential oils and find out how to buy them here.

Add the water and oil to your flour mixture.

Heat the flour mixture in a pot over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. The play dough will start to pull away from the sides and form a dough-like consistency.

Remove your dough from the heat and allow it to cool.
