25 Delicious Instant Pot Recipes that Aren’t Soup

Once you own an Instant Pot of your own, you’ll wonder how you ever survived without one. Pressure cookers have completely changed the way we make dinner. It now takes even less time to put dinner on the table, and the cleanup time is hardly existent. If you’ve ever looked through Pinterest, you know that there are easily a million different soup recipes. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good soup, but there are so many other gems out there! So I put together this list of delicious Instant Pot recipes that aren’t soup!

We use our Instant Pot to make everything from Applesauce to hard boiled eggs so you definitely aren’t limited to just soup when it comes to cooking in your Instant Pot (although our Hamburger Orzo Soup IS pretty amazing).

If you don’t have an Instant Pot yet, I HIGHLY recommend getting one. Our Instant Pot has saved us on many nights when we just can’t get our act together.

HOW TO CHOOSE AN INSTANT POT

You have a few choices when it comes to Instant Pot. I actually ended up buying a second one because mine gets so much use and it is really handy to have two so you can make a main course and side dish at the same time.

I have the Instant Pot Lux60 6-in-1, because I got a great deal on it, and the Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1.

The biggest difference between the two Instant Pots is that the 7-in-1 includes a yogurt function, so if you want to make homemade yogurt then go with the 7-in-1.

If the 6 qt isn’t big enough or you do a lot of bulk cooking the Instant Pot also comes in an 8 quart. The 6 qt has been big enough for my family of 8, but I do have two of them. One thing to keep in mind is the larger pot will take a bit longer to come to pressure, especially if it is filled.
