How to Make Rice in the Oven
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
Preparation
Add your rice and water to a 13×9 inch glass pan. Stir in your salt and oil. I’ll alternate between using butter or coconut oil in this. They are both good. I like the flavor of the butter a bit better but the coconut oil has some definite health benefits.
Cover your glass pan tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes in a 350° oven.
After 45 minutes, remove it from the oven. I leave this covered for a bit longer as it cools. You’ll end up with perfect rice every time!
