Stress is always going to be something we all experience, but sometimes it can be overwhelming. Learning a few coping mechanisms can help you learn how to thrive in stressful situations.

I wish I could snap my fingers and say that no one ever has to experience anything stressful again. But, as my 5-year-old just loves to tell me “that’s not how life works”.
Coping with stress is an essential life skill that we all need to develop (and continue to develop) because stressful situations are just going to keep coming at us.
This past year has been A YEAR. Stress is something that we are experiencing at higher levels than we ever thought we would.
Fortunately, my family are pros at coping with stress (or at least we should be) after all of the things we’ve experienced with over the past decade.
One of the tools I’ve been using for the last few years are Stressballs supplements and their new Stressballs Stressballs De-Stress & Relax gummies were a no-brainer to add to my daily supplement routine.

They contain Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb that helps with stress and has been in use for thousands of years. I started looking into Ashwagandha when I came across it while researching stress-relief techniques and was curious. When I found out that it was included in the Stressballs De-Stress + Relax gummies along with ginseng and lemon balm I knew I had to give it a try.

I experience a noticeable difference when I take Stressballs on the days when I’m facing major working mom overwhelm. Seeing that difference first hand has made me a Stressballer for life!
How to Thrive in Stressful Situations

These tips have helped me when I’ve experienced stressful situations and make the idea of future stress easier.
Take care of your own needs.
When I catch myself getting super overwhelmed, 9 times out of 10 I haven’t taken the time for any self-care. Do a quick check. Have you eaten? Have you had a glass of water? Have you gotten the sleep that you need? Have you stopped to just breathe for a minute? I find that taking a few minutes to catch up on some self-care leave me much more equipped to handle stressful situations.
Have a plan in place.
It’s easy to spiral when you have a lot coming at you at once. I find that if I have a plan in place it helps me control my stress levels. This could be as simple as a handwritten to-do list. Whatever method you use, make sure you have each step planned out so you know how to get through the stressful situation that you find yourself in.
Find something that you can control.
Not every stressful situation can be planned for. If you. find yourself experiencing stress due to an unknown future, find something you can control. Organize a closet. Finish a task that you have been putting off. Take a few minutes to work on a hobby project. Tackling something that feels more in your control can help you cope with those feelings of stress in the rest of your life.
Take your supplements.

I always feel much better overall when I stick to a consistent supplement routine. I make it a habit to take my supplements with breakfast every morning and I have Stressballs De-Stress + Relax gummies on hand to take during the day when I feel like I need them.
