Instant Pot Everything Chicken (with Video)
This recipe for Instant Pot Everything Chicken is one I’ve been making for years. I started off making this Instant Pot Chicken recipe in my slow cooker, but it adapts so well into an Instant Pot recipe that I only use that now. The flavor in this recipe is unbelievable. Because it’s made in the Instant Pot, the chicken is nice and tender too, so my kids love it. This is sure to be a weeknight favorite at your house!
I’m a big fan of anything that lets me get dinner on the table with minimal effort, so my Instant Pot gets a lot of use. It has a permanent spot on my kitchen counter because most days it ends up getting used at least once. I’m always on the hunt for a great Instant Pot chicken recipe to add to our rotation so I was excited to rediscover this old favorite.
We use our Instant Pot to make everything from homemade applesauce to our favorite Hamburger Orzo Soup.
I actually have two Instant Pots at my house, because my first one got so much use. The Instant Pot I use the most is this 7-in-1 but they both get plenty of action.
This recipe for Everything Chicken is one I converted from our old go-to slow cooker recipes. It had been a few years since we’d made this one and it was just as good as we remember it.
Everything Chicken Ingredients
- 4-5 Chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (or you can substitute homemade chicken gravy)
- Swiss cheese, sliced
- Mushrooms, sliced
- Bacon, chopped and cooked
- Green onions, diced
Everything Chicken Instructions
Put chicken breast inside Instant Pot.
Top with can of cream of chicken soup and 1 can of water.
Set Instant Pot to “poultry” setting (about 17 minutes).
When chicken is done, release the pressure on your Instant Pot and top the chicken with the sliced mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
Set the Instant Pot for another 2-5 minutes, then do a manual pressure release.
Serve topped with chopped bacon and diced onions (and any other toppings you’d like).
