As a work at home mom, finding the time to exercise can be a serious challenge. The NordicTrack S22i Studio Cycle has simplified my fitness goals by bringing the studio to me. With a 22″ interactive touch screen, I feel like I’m right there with a personal trainer, which is just what I need after having twins. I love all of the workout options, especially the trail rides. This bike makes my workout fun.
When I first started trying to get back in shape after having my twins, I had big plans of going to the gym every day and completely revamp my diet. The reality is, life with twins doesn’t leave me a lot of time to actually go to the gym, so 4 years later I’m still trying to lose the baby weight.
Bummer.
The good news is, the NordicTrack S22i Studio Cycle makes it so easy to get in a great workout no matter how busy your schedule is.
The bike is enabled with the iFit coach platform. When you purchase it at Best Buy it comes with a 1-year subscription). With fabulous studio trainers or location-based workouts, you have plenty of options to keep you engaged. The trainers auto-adjust the bike to it really feels like you are right there with them.
Of course, you can customize the bike too to get the exact experience that you want. It has a -10% – 20% Incline and 22 Digital Resistance Levels. I’m still at the stage where I’m adapting my workouts a bit because the trainer workouts mean business! I’m always exhausted at the end.
I LOVE the location-based workouts because I can escape to gorgeous locations like Moab, Utah or road trails in Italy. Exercise is an escape when I get stressed so it makes it even better when I can mentally escape to another place. I can pretend for a moment that I’m traveling instead of spending the day (very slowly) working my way through my to-do list.
Riding my bike used to be my favorite form of exercise but once I had kids and then started working from home it became a serious challenge to get out and ride. It is always going to be a bit difficult to get in a good workout as a work at home mom, but one of the tricks I use is to set my alarm for the top of every hour. I’ve been amazed at how much that one little trick has increased my activity level during the day.
