- Ziplock bags

How to Make Baked Pumpkin Donuts with Maple Cinnamon Glaze and Chocolate Drizzle
Ingredients
Donuts:
1 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1⁄3 C light brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1⁄4 tsp ground nutmeg
1⁄4 tsp kosher salt
1⁄3 C pumpkin puree
1⁄4 C whole milk
1 large egg (room temp)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted and then cooled)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Glaze:
1 C powdered sugar
1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp whole milk
Garnish:
6 oz bittersweet chocolate chips
1 1⁄2 sticks of unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
Instructions

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 6 donuts
Donuts:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep the donut pan with nonstick baking spray. Whisk the flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside. Add pumpkin puree, brown sugar, whole milk, egg, butter, and vanilla extract in a second bowl. Mix these ingredients with an electric mixer. Slowly begin to add the dry mixture in with the wet mixture. Scoop the dough into a ziploc bag, cut a corner of the bag, and evenly put the batter into the six donut wells. Bake at 350 donuts for 10-12 minutes. (Insert a toothpick in the donut; if it comes out clean, the donuts are done. Remove the donuts from the oven and then set aside to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes. Flip the pan over and cool the donuts on a wire rack.
Glaze:
Add powdered sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, and milk to a small mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to combine all of the ingredients. (If the glaze is too thick, add a teaspoon or two of milk, stirring to mix it in.) One by one, dip each donut in the bowl to glaze. Return to the rack to dry. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes.
Garnish:
Add the chocolate chips to a small microwave bowl. Cook the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir with a rubber spatula. Repeat this process until the chocolate is almost totally melted. Then, remove the bowl of chocolate from the microwave. Add the pieces of butter to the bowl. Stir well to incorporate the butter and chocolate. Use a spoon to add the melted chocolate to a piping bag with a medium round tip. Drizzle the chocolate over the donuts. Allow the chocolate to dry on the donuts. Enjoy!
