Osmo Coding
We are huge fans of Osmo.
If you haven’t seen it yet, it is a great hands-on system that helps teach your kids important skills with the various modules that are available.
Osmo recently added Coding to their list of options and we love the highly visual way it teaches kids.
Osmo uses the iPad but it goes so far beyond what your kids get with a traditional app.
Each module uses physical pieces that your kids can work with to find solutions to each puzzle and complete tasks.
Cubetto
Did you know you could teach your kids to code without using a screen?
Cubetto is one of the coolest STEM toys for young kids we’ve seen lately.
Instead of sitting kids down in front of a screen, Cubetto uses a mat, board, and cute little robot named Cubetto to teach kids basic coding skills.
WowWee Chip
Chip from WowWee is an adorable little robotic dog with tons of personality.
My kids have been playing with Chip over the past month and he quickly became a favorite . . . at least with all the humans in the house (our dog isn’t a fan).

My kids love testing this out by adding different amounts of water and mixing things in to see what they can come up with.
