Study.com is a digital learning platform that offers course material for students in third grade through college and beyond. My kids love their engaging video courses. They enable students to learn at their own pace and delve deeper into subjects that interest them. Is this online learning platform right for your family? Study.com is a digital learning platform that offers online video courses on a huge variety of topics. Their platform is used by teachers (who love to show videos in the classroom), parents, homeschoolers, and students who want some extra homework help.
They’ve got loads of cool videos, quizzes, study guides, and interactive options that cover everything from academics (elementary-college) to professional development. It’s super easy to use, and you can learn at your own pace whenever and wherever you want.
How much is Study.com?
Study.com offers customized plans for teachers, homeschoolers, students seeking college credit, and those looking for homework help.
Plans are billed monthly, although you do have the option to pay annually in order to receive a discounted rate. Monthly plans start at $29.99 a month.

Can Study.com be used as a homeschool curriculum?
Yes! My family has used Study.com for several years as part of our homeschool curriculum. My kids have loved the videos that have been part of their core classes (check out our 4th-grade curriculum favorites here). They were able to explore additional subjects they were interested in as well, like coding, animal science, and geography.
Study.com can be used as a full homeschool curriculum or as a supplement to other resources. While they do offer substantially more options for high school, we’ve loved the elementary school options that we have worked through.
Can Study.com be used for homework help?
Absolutely! This is one of our favorite ways to use Study.com, especially with my high schoolers, because it’s been a minute since I’ve thought about some of the subjects they are studying. Whenever they have a question we just search on Study.com and usually there’s a great video explaining what they are struggling with.
Is Study.com good for test prep?
Study.com offers ACT and SAT test prep. Both options are very comprehensive. My teenagers have been using the ACT prep course to help them improve their ACT test scores and they’ve loved the fact that they can work on it on their own time and at their own pace.
As an added bonus, Study.com test prep courses are substantially more affordable than in-person options so if you have a child who is good at learning independently it can be a great option.
