Halloween Treat – Chocolate Toffee
This easy 3-ingredient chocolate toffee makes a fun Halloween treat and it is so fun for kids to decorate. Get creative with this and use your favorite Halloween candies to dress it up for a Halloween party or neighbor treat.

I’ve been making this easy 3-ingredient chocolate toffee for years during the holiday season but why reserve it for Christmas? This makes an easy and fun Halloween treat that everyone will love and it can be dressed up with your favorite Halloween candy or sprinkles.
I’d recommend sharing this with friends and family members because it is way too tempting if you leave it on your kitchen counter to nibble on.
We like to add this Halloween dessert to treat plates for neighbors when we “Boo” them during the month of October.

Halloween Chocolate Toffee Ingredients
- 1 pound of butter (4 sticks)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
Optional toppings:
- Halloween sprinkles – We love these Halloween sprinkles for holiday baking.
- Candy corn
- Mini peanut butter cups
- Assorted Halloween candy
Instructions
Melt the butter in a pot and add the sugar.
Stir consistently until the mixture begins to foam up.
Continue stirring for 9-12 minutes until the mixture turns a caramel color.
You can do a test to see if this is done by dripping a bit into a bowl of ice water. If the cooled drop is crunchy you are good to go.
Pour the mixture onto a parchment-covered cookie sheet.
Let the toffee cool for about 5 minutes then sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

Give them a minute to melt then spread the chocolate over the toffee. This may take a few minutes of spreading to get an even covering.

Top with Halloween sprinkles and assorted candy.

Let cool completely (you can use the fridge if you’d like) and then break it into pieces to serve.
