Tres Leches Cake With Strawberries
Tres Leches is one of the most decadent summer desserts and it is always a favorite at my house. This Tres Leches Cake with Strawberries is super simple to make and tastes absolutely amazing!

I have loved Tres Leches for as long as I can remember, but until my college Spanish class, I had no clue how to make it. Just before our final exam, someone in the class brought in a homemade Tres Leches cake for us to share and it was heavenly!
Ever since that day, we’ve been enjoying homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with strawberries every summer and we won’t be stopping anytime soon.
This Tres Leches cake is an adaptation of that cake that was shared in my college Spanish class and is one of the most-requested desserts around my house during the summer months. Every time we see strawberries on sale, our first thought is Tres Leches!

Tres Leches Cake With Strawberries Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 t vanilla
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pound of strawberries, sliced (This strawberry slicer makes the job SO much easier!)

Tres Leches Cake With Strawberries Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine flour and baking powder and set aside.
In a mixer, blend eggs on high for 4-5 minutes. Slowly add in the sugar while on high.
Lower the speed to medium and alternate adding in the milk and the flour mixture.
Add in the vanilla then mix on high for 1-2 minutes.
Pour the cake mixture into a buttered cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
While the cake is baking, combine the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and 1 1/2 cup of milk.
Remove cake from the oven, when done and poke the top of the cake with a fork repeatedly until you have holes over the entire surface of the cake. Pour milk mixture over the hot cake and let the cake sit in the fridge for several hours.
Whip the heavy whipping cream in a mixer on high for 3-5 minutes, until a thick cream forms. Add the powdered sugar and mix to combine.
Spread the whipped cream over the cake and smooth. Top with a thick layer of sliced strawberries.
