Why You Should Always Eat After 7PM

Taking charge of your eating is always a challenge. The new book, Always Eat After 7PM, by Joel Marion lays out a simple plan for effective weight loss.

After having twins 6 years ago, my health suffered. I’d finally had enough and realized that this year was the time to take charge of my health. No more excuses. No more false starts.
I’ve been following the Always Eat After 7PM plan from Joel Marion for the last few months and I’ve been very happy with the progress I’ve made. I’m down ten pounds. I likely could have done better but considering all of the chaos that have come with the last few months I was pretty proud of myself.
I’ve been so impressed by how easy the plan is to follow, especially with the delicious menu plans that work for my whole family.
The program takes you through 3 phases, the last of which is designed to be a life-long change, which is really what I need. A short-term fix doesn’t help anyone.
In the Acceleration phase you get to see quick progress, which is always helpful when you need a bit of motivation.
The Main Phase helps you steadily work towards your weight-loss and health goals.
The Lifestyle phases helps you find a sustainable balance between enjoying your favorite foods and making choices that help you maintain your goal weight.
My Results with Always Eat After 7PM

After 4 weeks following the program, I’m so excited to be feeling better about the direction my weight is heading and I love that the food I’m eating works for my entire family.
I’ve tried many diets in the last few years since my twins were born and none of them worked long-term.
One of the main things that sets this program apart is that it not only allows you to eat after 7PM but it encourages it.
Joel Marion says, “Research shows that the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether it’s 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.”
I’ve noticed a huge difference in the way I feel in the morning when I allow myself to make healthy snack choices at night. I have a tendency to struggle with blood sugar issues so keeping my blood sugar stabilized throughout the night has been huge for me.
I naturally don’t want to eat breakfast but. now, instead of simply skipping a meal and then eating when I’m starving, I have a plan in place. I’m in the habit of enjoying water with lemon first thing in the morning and now I really look forward to that. It’s the perfect boost to get me through the first few hours of the day before I get to enjoy a planned meal.
This program has allowed me to take control of my eating and I’m feeling great about the progress that I have made.
